So, you buy a cheap (=good deal) computer just to find out that the performances suck. After a chat with one of B&H’s excellent tech the advice is to purchase extra RAM memory. After an efficient purchasing process (Thanks B&H) you install these modules (Thanks Alan for telling how) you get a computer that works, good. Now I have a cheap (= good eal) computer with excellent function for far less than one of those high end computers that cost a lot more. (So what I don’t have the latest model) Thanks B&H for a nice deal

I was running a mid 2012 macbook pro with 4GB of ram and needed it to handle video editing software. I installed the 16GB and it has made my macbook substantially faster. It runs much smoother and is able to handle large 4k easily. Best investment i made. Between the RAM and the 1TB HDD i installed, i boosted the performance of my macbook 10x for under $.

Worked flawlessly with my late 2012 Mac Mini. I was going to replace spinning spindle hard drive with SSD, but the SSD arrived after the memory. I upgraded the RAM immediately. The Mini can load my applications into RAM and application response speed is not an issue now. I may not need that SSD upgrade now…

Awesome speed!!!! It saved at least 3 seconds more to boot up my laptop. It takes about 1.5 seconds to bot up. All programs, apps, and even games run smoothly without glitch!!! Also multitasking!!!!

Much better from a cost perspective than the Apple memory upgrade for the same level of performance.

I installed these DIMM’s in a QNAP TS-251+. They were somewhat difficult to install in the unit – the access screws were tiny, and the working space tight. It took about a half hour. The unit started without a problem and recognized the 8GB immediately. I don’t really see a performance increase, but I may not be running applications which make use of the additional RAM. Four stars because it works. Minus one because I really can’t see any difference, but I doubt whether that’s related to the DIMMs.

Helped this backup computer while I fix my primary computer. This was really slow before the 8GB. The computer is Dell n5040. The BH site, with the Crucial help matched this kit to my computer.

I had this product delivered to Australia & it took no longer than the Australian post would have taken had I bought it locally (& it was cheaper than buying it locally). The whole ordering process is simple & trouble free. I had it in my computer up & running in no time. I upgraded from 4gb in my Dell Vostro 5460 & the extra speed my computer is dealing with things now is quite noticeable. Very satisfied with my purchase. Thank You!

When you buy RAM, you want it to fit perfectly and work without any hiccups. Quality is determined by the perfect fit and correct functionality. Crucial provides just such quality and it went into my mid-2015 retina iMac without a hitch. I’m running without any problems and 32GB of usable RAM now. This was a great purchase from one of my favorite retailers.

Purchased for my Late 2011, 15 Mac Book Pro. Apple specs the computer saying that it can only handle a max of 8GB but when I installed (2) 8GB modules, it DOES recognize 16GBs and runs it fully. Great purchase, shipped super quickly and was very easy to install

If you’re going to upgrade memory on your MAC product Crucial is definitely the way to go…superior quality and dependability. I upgraded my Late 2012 iMac 27 to 24GB adding two 8GB modeules to my exsisting 8GB…highly recommend this product.

I am a pro photographer/videographer and I can say there was a noticeable and significant improvement when rendering video. I upgraded from 8GB RAM to 32GB RAM on my 2011 iMac. I bought 2 packs (4 x 8GB) and placed the cards in the 4 slots. For me, it was worth the investment as I save time and I am able to work on other tasks on the computer while it rendered video. I even noticed that web pages popped up faster when surfing the net. I was told by a computer techie that 8GB is all I need but after the upgrade, I can confidently say, he was wrong. The improved performance made a difference for me.
