Coming from a stock of 4GB, the 8BG ram pushes application further and opens up more room for further multitasking. However, I think Mavericks users might not see a big difference (being one). I think now I should start a fresh back from Mountain Lion to better the performance. Other than that, decent upgrade kit. Recommended.

After replacing the HD with a 1 gig SSD and adding an additional 8 gig, my old backup laptop is a viable machine for editing and production again!

The instalation was the easiest thing you can do to an iMac besides cleaning it, the modules are instantly recognized by the computer the moment you turn it on.

I popped this product into my computer and it’s funning much better now. I can run other apps while an editing software is open and that’s saying something! So far haven’t had any issues with this memory. All is working fabulously. Simple enough to put into your computer and no other steps required. I definitely recommend upgrading your memory.

My iMac (late 2011) took 10 mins to upgrade from 4 to 12 GB, now its like having my new iMac back. The updates were using all that original 4GB, no amount of cleaning up did the trick but more memory did!

Worked as expected. Although MacBook Pro spec list 8GB as maximum memory supported, I added two 8GB modules and everything works just fine. Noticeable difference in performance for certain tasks.

Buena marca y calidad del producto. Mejor considerablemente el rendimiento en el iMac (27inch, Mid 2011), en el que fueron instaladas. Estoy muy contento.

I have a 17in Macbook Pro running Maverick OS and the OS has really slowed down my machine. I upgraded the RAM and it is AWESOME!!!

No need to shop around – B&H has the best brands at the best price. Fast dependable service too. My Crucial modules are hard to located but I had them installed and running cool in no time.

Step two of beefing up my 2011 MacBook Pro. With the SSD replacing my HD, the extra memory really made it fly.

My 2011 iMac was slow and the employee at the computer store recommended getting my RAM from B&H. The website clearly showed the product with the specs I needed, the ordering was quick and easy and the items came quickly. Installation was easy and my 2011 iMac now has 2015 speed. And the price was about 4 times cheaper than what the cost would be from a computer store. Best advice was to go right to B&H!

Very satisfied with the performance. Probably the best RAM for the price!

I had a mid 2011 iMac with 8GB RAM. I got this kit. The iMac was supposed to max out at 16GB, but I was able to go 2X2GB + 2X8GB = 20GB total with no problem. I suspect you could unofficially get two of these and do 4x8GB = 32GB in some iMacs that claim to only support 16GB. Very pleased. 5-10 minute install.

Installation in my early 2011 MacBook Pro was fast and easy. New RAM is working fine and has made memory intensive applications run a little faster.
