Product was exactly what was needed to upgrade ram on a 2011 iMac. Easy to install. No Issues. The product arrived very quickly!

I installed the 8GB module on my 2009 13 Macbook Pro flawlessly. Extremely easy DIY (just find a instructional youtube video there’s tons of them) — We use this laptop for graphic design mainly and performance increased in about 40% I would not hesitate in getting this product if you need a RAM upgrade for your mac. Couldn’t be happier!

I bought this to improve my video editing and my photo editing time and it has helped out a lot. With my 4GB RAM my computer froze whenever I started color grading. Its a great upgrade. The only issue I had was getting the ram out of the package. It was a tight fit.

I ordered and installed this RAM on my Mac at about the same time I upgraded my mac to Yosemite. Now I’m getting kernel panic restarts which could be a result of either one and it will take hours of diagnostic testing to figure it out. I feel like I’m back in the wonderful world of Windows.

I use it with my Mac BookPro 15′ early 2011. It works well. Haven’t notice any problems using this memory.

I have a 21.5 inch mid-2011 iMAC. It came with 4GB of memory and an Intel Core i5 2.5GHz processor. I use Adobe LR5, Perfect Photo Suite 7, and the NIK software suite. I was hoping to get a little more speed, but did not. The real issue is to get a better graphics card and processor to start with. I now have 16GB of memory, but really don’t need it.

Made late model 2013 IMac 27 exponentially faster.

I wasn’t able to purchase an SSD at this time, so I figured the next best thing would be to get more RAM. While often running LR5 and CS6 at the same time, things tend to bog down. I upgraded from having 8GB of RAM in my iMac to now having 20GB, and I’ve noticed an exceptional increase in how well my machine keeps up with the demands of RAM-hogging programs that I just mentioned.

Work perfectly for Macbook Pro (13′) or iMac 2010/2011. I always buy Crucier, I have no issues with this memories modules and I’m still using for more than 5 years on my iMac also. Packaging is protecting the modules so you can travel with no more special cares that they will travel secure.

Upgraded my iMac to 12 GB. Really adds speed and was not too hard to install. The memory has to be pushed really hard into the slots. But, everything installed fine and I have not had any issues in over a month of use.

I purchased two of these to install in my 2011 iMac about three weeks ago. Installation was easy and they’re working great. I would recommend.

I bought my Mac Book Pro early 2011 and started out with Final Cut Pro to make movies and edit footage and then I had to upgrade to Adobe Premier which functions best, and basically requires, an 8GB memory chip. SO! I bought this from B&H because I saw so many different versions being sold @ etc. but feel I can better rely on B&H and know that I get a good quality product for a price equal to what I would find on Ebay or Amazon but the bonus is my knowing that I will receive this product in great condition. And so it came, in great condition, to my door step and it was incredibly simple to put it my computer. So far, it sounds like I should have put 5 stars. But the reason I put 3 is to inform that along side my reason for buying the 8GB to support Adobe Premier, it was also to keep my computer from over heating so quickly. It did not do this as well as I hoped. Maybe it’s because of how I inserted it? Or some distinct condition my computer is in in regards to the fans, I don’t know. But I do know that the condition of the chips is not the problem…I hope not because then I would not know what to think of B&H. I am now inspired to do more research about this company. I have good expectations of it and will continue to purchase product from this company because I have had great outcomes with previously purchased products.

I upgraded my Mac mini mid-2011 from 2Gb to 8Gb and the improvement in performance was excellent! The memory arrived quickly and was easy to install. My only regret was not doing it sooner.

Heard a lot about Mac memory being very specific and people having trouble upgrading no problems here simple plug and play excellent product!

I was a little hesitant to buy, i was getting mixed info on what memory I needed for my early 2011 macbook pro (i5). Turns out there was nothing to worry about; it all works perfectly. Coupled with an SSD, this machine hardly misses a beat now, even under load. Activity monitor shows absolutely no swap file, unless I purposely try to max it out – but this is usually done with a completely unrealistic scenario (numerous memory hungry applications open at once with multiple projects). Very happy!
