Came in, unscrewed the bottom of the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 6, popped out the old module, clicked in the new one, and we were in business. I’ve noticed significantly less slowdowns when working, with Chrome (9 tabs), Zoom, Outlook, Word, Slack, and Photoshop all running at the same time. Glad to have bought this, for a great price and quick shipping. Definitely recommended.

First, let me say I have never had an issue with Crucial RAM. I should have known to go with it this time, but I tried to save money. I ordered a different brand of RAM from a reputable vendor, and once it was installed the laptop would not boot. I had to spend time diagnosing a blinking orange and white LED on the front of the laptop to figure out that the cheaper RAM would not work. I returned it and ordered this kit. Once I installed the kit, I was up and running in about 5 minutes. This is a great upgrade. I recommend the kit (16GB) and Crucial. You can’t go wrong with Crucial’s quality and guarantee.

Easy as opening a small door, moving 2 latches, pressing the DDR4 into the 2 slots, closing the latches, put small door back into place, start up iMac – what once was 8GB now 40GB at 1/4 what Apple would charge.

Taking into account all the positive reviews about this RAM, I believe I ended with a faulty pair that was impossible to be recognized by my fully compatible (as per the website of Crucial) and perfectly functioning Dell laptop. After trying every possible suggestion from Crucial’s troubleshooting, the last one was send it back because you probably ended with a faulty one. Easy to do because I purchased it from the best (thank you B&H for one more time) but I could not give more than one star to the product, based on my experience, wasted time and overall hassle.

This RAM works as expected in the 2019 iMac with i9 processor. I ordered the iMac with 8 Gig of RAM. I just swap out the two 4 Gig RAM modules that came with the machine with the 16 Gig RAM modules that came with this kit. I inserted the two 4 Gig RAM modules that came with the machine into the remaining two unoccupied slots. This results in a total of 40 Gig of RAM. In order to remove each of the two RAM modules that came with the machine, just pull up on the module.

This RAM had the same specs as the synology preferred ram, which is $75 more than this Crucial RAM. I made sure to run a memory test using the synology assistant, and everything passed just fine. It also shows the proper memory size within Synology’s DSM, with no RAM errors. Great memory for a much better price than Synology’s RAM.
