My RAM came to my door step less than 72 hours after I placed the order. I installed it into my new 2019 – 27 iMac that I purchased with the standard 8GB. It took me less than 10 minutes from the time I shut down my computer to the time I turned the power back on with an additional 32GB of RAM installed. Extremely easy process and saved me over $410.00 ($189.99 from B&H, self installed vs $600.00 installed by Apple. In addition to the cash savings, I also now have 40GB of RAM instead of 32GB. For me, there isn’t a whole lot to say about a memory upgrade. My laptop came with 8GB of ram occupying 1 of 2 slots. I stuck this in the open slot and doubled the RAM. It had the effect I would have expected and works perfectly. My laptop supports up to 64MB but with the cost of RAM decreasing as bigger and faster is developed I have time to wait for that level.

The most difficult thing was removing the back cover of my laptop. After that it took 2 minutes to remove the existing memory and insert the two 16 GB memory modules. I reattached the back cover and I was done. The increased memory has dramatically improved performance.
