Current model iMac ships standard with 8 GB memory, which really isn’t enough at this point with the Catalina O/S. Paid about $70 from B&H instead of the $200 Apple wanted for the same exact memory. When I pulled the original 4 x 2GB chips I noted it’s the same manufacturer, so you’re saving $130 just for the 10 minutes it takes to unplug your computer, pop out the old chips and put in the new ones. Note this is only good for the 27 current generation iMacs as of this writing June 2020. The current 21.5 iMacs are not upgradeable. I might even get another set to go to the max 32Gb for my machine (3.0 GHz i5).

B&H’s price was competitive with Amazon, perhaps a bit cheaper. No reason to not order it from them!

I’ve always loved this brand of ram and when I got it on sale here. Even better deal. I’ve used this brand to upgrade all my devices. This ram in particular does its job and have not has issues with it so far. Love this product and Crucial.

I had not problem with the order or installing the RAM in my 2019 iMac. By purchasing the RAM from B&H photo and installing it myself, instead of ordering it preinstalled from Apple save me several hundred dollars. This is the way to go, if you want to add more RAM to your iMac.

Happy with the purchase, I’m glad I did not go to apple to purchase it…I saved a lot of money and it’s working the way it’s supposed to work.

The RAM works great and in dual channel paired with a Kingston HyperX 16GB Module. My laptop has a quirk that it can’t work on the low latency of the HyperX RAM by themselves but will work paired with another chip that defaults the latency higher.

I swapped this kit out with my dual-channel RAM in my MSI GL63, and Windows 10 recognized it immediately. I’ve had it in for over two weeks and it’s been performing flawlessly. Absolutely zero complaints.

Waited on it with a 5 day delay thx to FedEx. But the customer service with B&H was excellent. The RAM was very easy to install, took me only 3 minutes.

Used it to upgrade my gaming laptop to 40G RAM. Things work considerably faster now. The hardest part was taking the laptop apart, the actual install was easy. Pros: works without issues, reasonably priced Cons: none so far Other thoughts: Crucial memory, as well as other Micron products, has always been trouble-free in my experience.

I upgraded my Dell Laptop G5 5590 9750H Core i7 from 16GB to 32GB. It is working very well. I am used to use crucial products, first I started with SSDs and now with memory modules. Regards

Just installed two 16gb modules along with two 8 gb modules in my early 2019 27″ iMac. I now have 48 gb of RAM. It’s been a few days and it’s working perfectly. Plus my heavy load of photographs are no longer crashing programs or getting stuck. I noticed that with all the usual programs running plus jamming to music I am monitoring RAM usage falls down to about 15 gb out of the 48 gb. I don’t know I didn’t upgrade earlier. BH fast delivery is top notch.

That’s about it! We received the memory unit quickly, installed it (in a Dell gaming laptop) … which took about 4 minutes … and it has been working perfectly. The laptop only had 8GB previously, and this addition dramatically improved system performance.
