Installed this 8Gb SODIMM in a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E531 running Win8.1 to replace the factory-installed 4GB SODIMM, which I then installed in a second Thinkpad Edge in addition to its factory-installed 4Gb bringing both to a total of 8Gb. Both machines are working much better (and equally well) with 8Gb RAM. Very little paging even with a number of applications open. Crucial 8Gb SODIMM worked perfectly.

What a difference in my wife’s MacPro 2012. Yes it can run 16gig. My wife is a school teacher and gets frustrated when things don run smooth. Her machine was running slow and hot now it runs fast and a lot cooler. It’s nice to put memory in and have it reliable.

This is not my first crucial memory kit and all of them worked well for me. Easily fit into Mac Mini (late 2012) which I use as a virtual lab with Win Srv 2012 R2 Preview. Memory work is excellent, no problems at all in any sort of scenarios even on a full load. Highly recommended!

Installed the modules to replace the original 8gb from my Sony VAIO L Series 24 Multi-Touch All-in-One Desktop Computer. The price is really competitive and Crucial is a reliable manufacturer so I was confident about the memory reliability. The memory modules do not smoothly fit the memory slots of my VAIO but they still lock properly so it’s all that counts. The memory modules came in a transparent hard plastic box with no protective antistatic wrapping to protect them which was a bit odd to me. I guess that’s the new rule in packaging today. Despite everything I mentioned above, it’s a great and very reliable product.
