The memory upgrade on my Mac Mini (Late 2013 running Mavericks) was quick and simple. I was suspecting that my system was sluggish due to a memory short fall but not completely sure that was the problem. Following the upgrade the system is performing much faster. I find application responsiveness much improved and also I notice much less disk activity.
