If you’re going to upgrade memory on your MAC product Crucial is definitely the way to go…superior quality and dependability. I upgraded my Late 2012 iMac 27 to 24GB adding two 8GB modeules to my exsisting 8GB…highly recommend this product.

Reason for 3 stars is we got 4 sticks to replace the RAM in a new 27 iMac and 2 were bad. B&H was great as always and are replacing the faulty RAM.

Got 32gb for a new 5k imac because who wants to pay apple $ for 32gb of ram. Pops right in and makes the machine scream. I have crucial ram in my laptop as well. Always stable, never an issue.

order it to upgrade my old Macbook Pro 13 early 2011 to 16 GB for larger jobs. The memory worked once put it in to replace 8 GB RAM. This is the best price I could find by online search for brand name like Crucial.

Inexpensive and works like a charm on my iMac Retina.

Several dozen attempts, procedures and well over on hour with Tech Support could not get all 4 of the memory sticks to operate in conjunction. Was left with only the ability to use 2 of the memory sticks which were barely able to improve performance beyond the memory chips that cam with my unit. Switching slots and various combinations only resulted in the ability to use just two of the addition memory regardless of the position of the slots.

Works in Mid 2011 21.5 iMac, replaced original 2x 2GB SODIMMs. Just be sure to vacuum out dust accumulation when replacing and seat memory in their sockets completely. Got a beeping error at startup. Cleaned memory bay and reseated new memory and system started up fine and recognized new memory.

Perfect upgrade for my iMac. And the price is right.

Used 2 x 8Gb sticks to upgrade the 2 x 2Gb stock ones in my Mac Mini They simply worked immediately and boot time was noticably faster, as were all other functions Definitely highy recommended and the way to a faster Mac FYI the video memory (shared) went from 384Mb to 1Gb instantly, so I have 15Gb available for other stuff and therefore can’t recommend going from 4 to 8Gb only

I always buy crucial memory. It has never failed me. Highly recommend!

Seems to work really well in my MBP mid 2012 model. I have been using it to it’s full potential I think, as I can run PS, Muse and Chrome all at the same time without an issue.
