I only had 4GB in my MacBook Pro and it was feeling quite sluggish after the Yosimite upgrade. Now after installing this Memory I can see an incredible boost in speed. My apps open faster, my videos play without glitches and I can copy files faster.

I’m a repeat customer and expect yo continue this trend. The memory was especially useful when running MacOS, VMware with Windows 7 & Adobe CS6 simultaneously.

Seems great. I watched a how to on youtube, and they went right in my Imac 27 late 2013.
Jalon Veum (verified owner) –
Super simple to install, and it helped that it was the right memory the first time. Smooth and beautiful. iMac is SCREAMING fast now!

I recently upgraded my Late 2012 Mac Mini 2.3 GHz 5400 RPM 1TB HDD from 4 GBs of ram memory (which I also purchased during cyber monday 2013 from BHPhoto as well) to maxed out 16gb ram DDR3. Works super fast alongside my Samsung 840 Pro 256gb second boot drive. I do a lot of video editing for my vlogs on youtube, so this 16gb ram DDR3 upgrade is a plus for using with the latest version of Final Cut Pro X. There’s no lag or long wait times for FULL HD video to render. I went with Crucial because they are reliable and it’s the only brand I trust to get he job done. They also have the best customer service out of all the other ram memory manufacturers with fast response times, though I have never had any issues with their ram modules.

I was a bit worried that my motherboard wouldn’t recognize the RAM on my 13″ Mid-2012 MacBook Pro. However, being at desperate measures, I ordered the upgrade that was recommended. At first, the online ordering had a bit of a hiccup, and I had to call into Customer Service. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went through correctly! I received the RAM the next day (I paid for expedited shipping) and, in as little as 5 minutes, I got the memory installed, and it has worked like MAGIC!! I will most definitely be returning as a customer in the future!

I used this to bump up the memory in a newly purchased iMac – it was easy to install and I’m very pleased with the performance.

The memory chips were very easy to install, and the upgrade from 4GB to 16GB offered huge increases in performance on a 2012 Macbook Pro. Totally worth the money.

I had read there were problems with adding memory to an iMAC. I moved the existing memory to slots 3&4 and put these memory modules in slots 1&2. Worked perfectly, my iMAC is noticeably faster now, vs the original 8GB.

Needed more RAM to run Win 7 with Parallels on Mac Mini. Very easy to install in just a few minutes.

I appreciate the affordable alternative to buying memory directly from Apple. My 16GB of RAM plugged right into my mid-2012 MacBook Pro as described and was immediately recognized by the OS upon boot up. Thanks, Crucial!

Not that great on being faster

I can’t believe how fast my computer is now with the new memory and hard drive!

Bought this pair to upgrade my laptop from 16 to 32 GB of memory. Simple to install, and now my computer is super fast! Don’t be fooled by the product name (Mac). These cards work in my Windows machine – they are just specially tested and certified for use in Macs, as required by Apple.

Whenever I need to upgrade RAM, I simply go to the Crucial site and used their Crucial System Scanner tool to automatically detect what type of RAM I need and how much my computer will accept. Then I come to B&H for great service and prices, get the chips and they work great.
