Worked great, iMac was running a little slow and only showing 4GB of its original 8GB memory. Found one of the 4GB modules had worked loose on one end. Secured that original 4GB module and added the new 8GB Crucial module, now the iMac shows it has 16GB. Wife is happy and feels like it is a new machine. We ordered another 8GB module and received it today but it is not as yet installed.

Memory chips and instructions were straight forward, simple to follow. The hardest part was getting the door of the iMac to open :o) Once installed, the additional memory was automatically / instantly recognized – No problems at all. This is memory upgrade has been running solid for one month. I did a Crucial-brand memory upgrade on an older iMac, it’s still running fine after 4 years.
