This pan is a good combination of value and quality. It is well built but not too heavy in my opinion. Don’t expect stainless steel to perform like a non-stick pan–you will need to use a small amount of oil or cooking spray and with a little practice it will be just as good.

We purchased this saute pan to replace the one we had, which was Teflon coated. In order to pursue healthier modes of cooking we are replacing all of our pots and pans with stainless steel. This is a 12-inch diameter pan which often is not included in a set. We are so pleased with our new pan. Bravo Cuisinart!

This pan is quite heavy and I don’t think it’s designed ergonomically correct, using the other handle is necessary.
