I bought a new Velocity Ultra Trio Blender/Food Processor, to replace the one I bought and used extensively over the last 4 years. I love that this is two appliances in one which is a space saver, and also use the separate blender cups to make smoothies. The food processor has a feed tube for emulsifying oil (such as in making pesto), a feature that was lacking in a competitive brand. I use this appliance multiple times a week, often on a daily basis, so perhaps 4 years is a decent life and I’m pleased that I could purchase it again since, after checking, no other brand fit my needs.

Great space saver and works great. The only thing I need to get used to is the blade screws on to the containers backwards. Righty, loosey, lefty, tighty!

I mostly use my blender for smoothies, but it performs extremely well. However, because some of the drive train parts are ploastic, I no longer use large ice cubes in my drinks, because it tends to wear out the plastic part that turns the blender blades.

I purchased this because I really needed a single serve option that has a food processor and a blender function. Plus it’s not a loud as the Ninja it replaced. It’s also not as tall and fits nicely on my counter under the cabinet. The only thing I don’t like is that the size of the food processor is small. I use it for cheese and wish it was just a little bigger. But it works and isn’t a real big deal. Other than that the unit is perfect. Love it!
