I needed a heating source to cook pop corn, and a single burner seemed to be a good choice. I don’t like air popped, too tasteles for me. The regular poppers have gone to light bulbs, too slow. So I bought a pop corn pan I love. New glass cook top and everything about my pan is a no-no. Now for the review, it seems to be pretty good. Takes FOREVER to heat to the highest heat {20 minutes to cook popcorn}, so if you wanted this for anything besides popcorn I think it would be a great choice for me not so much

Quality built. I bought the large version of this burner specifically to use with my pressure cooker. When I purchased an induction stove, my pressure cooker did not make adequate contact to the induction surface to heat reliably. This burner does the job, and I am able to use the pressure cooker as well as before. It takes up very little storage space, too.

This is a replacement for one that was sprayed with water while on, damaging the element. You really won’t find a better, even heating hot plate than this for $50. I have a backup plate, all that did was ensure I replaced my good one quicker.

It’s a feel good, hefty and aesthetic single burner stove! The initial smoky smell was gone after running it for a few minutes. I simply like how good the stove is to make anything from breakfast omelette, boiling water or full fledged dinner veg or non-veg curries etc with very good independently adjustable thermostat (turning knob from 1 through 5). Very satisfied with build-quality and the performance.
