I bought it because it was substantial but it is sloooooooow. Heating up takes a really long time. The heat is consistent on the burner which is great but it takes so long to heat that it is easier to just use my electric skillet. Using 2 burners is even worse.

Looks great, works great… if you have enough time. I got on my way somewhere and realized I had accidentally left it turned on to boil a pot of water. After circling back in a panic, I returned just in time to find that it had not yet started boiling. This was a good 20 minutes. To bring a pot of water to a boil…. almost. This was a pretty good sized pot on the smaller burner (heater). The larger burner works very well. One thing to look out for is that it does not cool down very quickly, so anything that begins to scorch should not be placed on the eye again within maybe 5 minutes of the eye being turned off. I do recommend this product, though I understand that a 3 star rating is not the best.
