Bought this blender so I could make healthy smoothies. It does a great job with the designated smoothie button. You can modify the blending time on any of the presets. Have not tried other uses as yet, but I anticipate that it will do well. I like how sturdy and heavy the base is. It is also very easy to clean. I am very happy with this product.

I bought this about a month ago. So far, we have only used it to make smoothies but this thing is great! Last night, I threw about a cup of frozen (right out of the freezer) peaches in to make a smoothie. Used the fruit smoothie setting and in the 45 seconds it defaults to for a fruit smoothie, those peaches were smooth as silk! Green smoothies are also smooth. It’s a beast. Only complaint is that it is loud. But I guess it has to be to do the job it does. And clean up is a BREEZE! Highly recommend for this purpose.

I’ve had mine for about 9 months now and it works really well. One thing I wish it could do better is small amounts (for baby food). It works well for big batches. I hope they come out with a single serve cup that would attach to my existing blender!

This blender is exactly what I was looking for. I purchased it specifically to make smoothies with vegetables and fruit, especially frozen fruit. Everything I have thrown in this blender has been fully “smoothied”! Never any lumps left. There are many features on this blender, but I have really only used the smoothie fruit 45-second mode and it works fantastic! So glad I purchased this blender. In addition, I chose this particular blender as it was a great price that was affordable, as opposed to other name brands that cost so much more. I have had a few other Cuisinart products and liked them and that is why I chose this blender in hopes that it was great- and it was!

The ice crushing function is so much better than any other blender I have owned that I ran the function longer than necessary and produced snow finer than some I have night-skied on (honest!).
