It certainly doesn’t take the amount of out a turkey fryer does, but it’s certainly bigger that you average counter top fryer. It’s actually big enough to make corn dogs, or chicken tenders, even onion rings. Without have to fry only one or two at a time. Just the right size for the kitchen.

We are two seniors and cook small meals at home. This unit does a better job than the black skillet I normally use. The temperature control is fairly accurate. The 375 degree setting heated the oil to about 360, which is good enough for fish, pork chops, and french fries. I also used 325 for fried shrimp. All good.

I absolutely love this deep fryer…it gets very hot and the food cooks through and through.. the main thing I was concerned about was using 3 to 4 bottles of oil I only used 21/2 bottles and my fish and chicken fried very well… this deep fryer is the one to go with .. great choice

I am very satisfied with my Cuisinart deep fryer because it works just as it was designed to do. Temperature control and timer works perfectly. The deep fryer I replaced made by another manufacturer with a max temperature setting of 375* F would only heat to 240*F. The Cuisinart 4 Quart Deep Fryer is a good quality product!

I must say that I have used this appliance only two or three times. For the most part, it performed as I expected. It is rather compact, light-weight and reaches the desired temperature in a reasonable amount of time. We have had to go through the “reset” procedure each time we have used it and found that to be a tad annoying. Maybe it is something that we are doing wrong and will be more attentive in the future when using the appliance. We have several Cuisinart appliances and none are “quirky” like this one.
