The Cuisinart Egg Central appliance has a new two-tiered cooking system that allows ten eggs to be cooked at once. Eggs can be cooked to a hard, medium or soft consistency. The egg cooker also comes with removable trays that can be used to poach eggs and make omelets. Cooking time is controlled precisely by the amount of water added. Fill included measuring beaker to the appropriate range and pour water into cooking plate. The Built-in LED light, audible alert and standby mode help guard against overcooking. All egg favorites can be made in one compact unit.

I do like this little egg cooker! Getting consistently poached eggs is a real treat. The only thing I’d recommend is a little handle to help remove the egg holder once the eggs are cooked. It’s hot and steamy so a mitt is needed but this is awkward. Do follow instructions for distilled water to prevent spots and deposits. A handle would make it 5 star worthy.

I did a lot of research before purchasing the Cuisineart Egg. Generally, the most expensive option, it was also consistently rated superior. Turns out the ratings are deserved. There is NO, and that is no with a capital “n”, negative element in the performance of this phenomenal appliance. Follow the instructions and the eggs cook perfectly. Not just soft boiled eggs but poached and omelets. Makes consistent and perfect meals. And, I use it all the time.
