This was purchased as a gift for me for Christmas. I had been looking for one and was undecided so my friend decided to make the choice for me. I’ve used it a couple of times and like the title says it lives up to the Cuisinart name and quality. When she purchased it the only real concern on the web about this product was that you had to wash it by hand. I read the things she had reviewed and thought that’s a shame this would be really good if only, well come to find out it is dishwasher safe. I guess the folks that reviewed it previously overlooked that in the owners manual. Of course you can’t put any of the electric parts in but if you use it correctly that would not be necessary anyway. We thoroughly enjoy it and it works great.

I bought this pot for a fondue night with my family (7 of us total). Plenty of room to make a cheese fondue (main course) followed by the chocolate one (dessert). I was thrilled by how fast it heated all ingredients up right in the pot. Kept the fondue the perfect eating temperature throughout. The only con I had with the pot was I used a heavy duty extension cord to plug this in since I put it in the center of my island for serving. Was safely doable in my home since I could plug it right into the island electric receptacle and wind up the extension cord. Note: Keep a non stick wisk handy so as not to scratch the inside of the pot.

I used the fondue only once. I like most of the features, I really like the magnet power cord, in case someone trips the hot fondue pot won’t go flying burning everyone. The only thing is that the power cord could be a couple of feet longer. I still have to use an extension cord. Other than tha, it works perfect. I also value the feature of regulating the heat.

The fondue pot kept the cheese and chocolate nice and warm for dipping. Was very easy to clean between the cheese and chocolate. Can’t wait to do another fondue party. My only complaint, we needed additional fondue forks. I could not find the forks anywhere. You should sell them.
