Great for coffee and hot water. Simple to use and provide a quality product. We have actually bought three of these over the past few years. And there is the problem – about 12-18 months him something happens internally and it water reservoir starts leaking on the counter. Obviously wished it lasted a little longer, but we use it daily and we rarely turn the hot water side off. Despite having to replace, we are very happy with the quality/temperature of the liquid and have repurchased.

I have been using it for approximately one month and it does everything very well. My elderly mom lives with my wife and I and she enjoys her morning coffee. The problem is she no longer enjoys strong coffee. This allows me to make the coffee the way I like it and have very hot water to mix with her coffee. The blend gives her a hot cup of coffee that is more to her liking.

I had always kept a kettle on, but now I have hot water on demand. One hot pour only fills half of my 22oz mug, but if I keep pouring while the heating button is blinking, it is still perfectly hot enough for tea. We use the coffee pot simultaneously, and it works well and keeps the coffee very hot.

I want to give it 5 stars but I don’t like the fact that the carafe leaks occasionally when pouring and the tea/hot water system plate doesn’t fit snugly enough and falls off every time you move the coffee maker. I think there is some design work needed to correct these issues.

I’m not much for doing reviews, but I really do love my new Cuisinart Coffee maker with the hot water system. I drink coffee every morning, but I really enjoy a cup of herbal or decaf tea in the afternoon or evening, especially when the weather starts turning cool. This machine heats the water so quickly, even faster than you can heat it in your microwave and it’s the perfect temperature. There is enough hot water for multiple cups, so it’s ready immediately for another cup for you or a friend. Oh, yes it makes great coffee too!
