It works great however it is very difficult to clean as the spout is too narrow. Had to buy a bottle brush to clean the inside. Also the water reservoir is hard to fill, need to use something with a spout to avoid getting water everywhere

Well constructed coffee maker that does what is expected. Hot water on demand is a nice Bonus. My wife uses regularly to make tea. Only real drawback is that pot has to be dragged out from under cabinets to be re-charged. Our last pot had a side fitting filter and water tank had a sliding cover. Other than that, highly recommended

I’ve been wanting this coffee maker, mostly because of the hot water side. We use a plastic measuring cup with a spout to fill it with the water. We had another like this but without the hot water side. The best feature I like is that the clock doesn’t light up my whole kitchen and shine into my bedroom while I’m trying to sleep. I love Cuisinart products, we own quite a few.

We have been using the Cuisinart coffeemaker with Hot water system for 5 months. The coffeemaker has been excellent and easy to use. However, the hot water system leaves an after taste, thus my wife no longer uses it. This taste may be normal, since daughter’s unit has a similar taste & smell for plain hot water.. Nevertheless, I did clean the unit, but she still do care for that taste. I would have given 5 stars, but the hot water system did not satisfy my wife’s taste buds.

The disappointing part was the plastic taste from the hot water system. Cleaned with vinegar and several water baths and still have a slight plastic taste.

This is a wonderful product, we love being able to have a pot of coffee and hot water for tea at the same time. Our issue with this or most coffee makers is the top fill as we have cabinets over our counter tops with outlets so we are moving the device to fill the water and coffee and then moving back and then moving again to clean the coffee grounds. If we did not have to move the device it would be the best appliance in the kitchen.

The coffee maker is great, and I love the hot water system as well. I really like the thermal carafe, which keeps my coffee warm well into the afternoon. Since it has a thermal carafe, it also shuts off right after brewing, so I don’t have to think about that anymore and I would think that it saves energy.

Need to use a measuring cup to fill water reservoir because filler opening is quite small. Also need to turn pot almost upside down to get the last of the coffee out.It does stay hot in the pot for a long time and the option of brewing tea or hot chocolate is great.
