Our last coffeemaker kept us happy for many years. When it died, it was clear to us that we would be getting another Cuisinart. So far, we are very happy and suspect we will be so for a long time to come.

love it and it easy to use. A goodfriend of mine also purchased the same product(we didn’t know we each purchased it)

This is the second Cuisinart-Coffeemaker w/ Hot Water System we have purchased. It gets a lot of use in our home. We use it daily for morning coffee and throughout the day for individual teas, or hot cocoa, hot cereal, etc. It has been a good system for us; however it would be even better if Cuisinart could fix two issues, we have with it. (1) It has a small clock, which gives you the time of day and allows you to program a few things, like when to start the coffee in the morning. The problem we have with the clock is that it is not lighted. We do not have enough light in the kitchen to quite make out the numbers or to program it. So as it is, the clock is useless for us. We currently have a small flashlight that we use when ever we need to program it. The clock should have a dim light that works off the electricity. (2) The Coffee Urn is a pain. Everyone complains that when ever they pour coffee into their mug it drips all over the counter. It should not be that difficult for Cuisinart to find a Coffee Urn that does not leak>

We like the ability to make coffee and other hot beverages with one small appliance. The cafe keeps coffee hot for hours.

I bought this coffee maker about 6 months ago and it has been a very good coffee maker. The coffee brews nice and hot and stays hot for several hours. No matter which brand of coffee I use it comes out delicious. The only draw back is when you pour the coffee out of the stainless steel pot; the coffee comes out pretty well until you get to the end, then the coffee stream begins to come out slow and erratic. And usually the last half cup doesn’t come out at all.

great coffee. Taste of coffee in the water? I drew water from the water heater to make tea for my wife for several days. She said the tea had a taste of coffee in it. I did not think this was possible since the water reservoir for the coffee maker and the water heater are separate – but there you have it.

Bought it for the thermal carafe and the hot water feature and I’m very pleased. Coffee tastes great and carafe keeps coffee hot for several hours. When it beeps to signal brewing is complete it actually is – water is completely drained from brewing basket and the brewing basket doesn’t leak on the way to the trash.

Good tasting wake up morning coffee! I fill to the 6 cup line & measure coffee to taste. My coffee “mug” is filled 3 times which is plenty of caffeine in the a.m. for 1 person. I use the “safe” hot water dispenser for instant decafe at the end of the day.

Overall it’s a great coffee maker. The only thing that took us a while to get used to is the coffee maker is off once brewing is done. Our old coffee maker keeps the plate hot even when brewing is completed.

I like coffee, my wife likes tea. Replaced our coffee maker with this tea and coffee maker that takes up same counter space as our prior coffee maker. We have been congratulating ourselves about our smart decision. Easy to use, works great and is very convenient. Good job on design, Cuisinart!

Positive: love that the jug is made of stainless steel, it looks nice in the kitchen, makes coffee &hot water. Negative: U can’t fill water tank to max bc water leaks out the front rt edge. Thought it was broken but 2nd one i got leaked as well. Overall good coffee maker with hot water maker.

Great coffeemaker. I love using the auto setting. I can’t figure out why it makes louder noises at times but more often than not it’s a typical coffeemaker sound. The pour is much to be desired because of the container and design. You have to turn the pot completely upside down towards the end and play with it to get the last half cup out. I accidentally dropped the lid and a chunk broke off but it’s still functional. Tried to find a replacement but unsuccessful. My wife enjoys the hot water feature for her tea and it eliminated the justification for a 5-gallon filtered water dispenser (w/hot water feature) that we had in our last home. Now we have 1-gallon sized water delivered which takes up less space. I would have given it 5-stars if it weren’t for the pot design which makes pouring a bit frustrating.

We have tried more expensive, more features machines but they are tempermental and break easily. The last one we had, needed cleaning every 3 times we made coffee. This is our second cuisinart coffee maker. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot all day. You can make smaller batches of coffee and we love the hot drink maker in the right side.Highly recommend it!!

hot water system is quick but i don’t see myself using it that often.as for the coffee drip capacity: I have the thermal carafe which is wonderful but pouring in the water has to be done with another cup. also missing is the “robust” function which was nice. the fit and finish on the lid (on the coffee side) is bent and does not sit level…just the one that I got. it’s a good simple machine.

I bought this in December as a Christmas gift for my husband. He used it the same day and said it made the best coffee he has ever had. I don’t drink coffee but I have used the hot water despenser to make hot tea, hot cocoa and Ramen noodles. I love it. It’s convenient to use, easy to fill and makes coffee in a matter of seconds. I will never own anything else so when we have to replace this one I will buy another just like it.

I’m very pleased with the product it’s much easier for my mom to get water for her tea

I like the product altogether. That only thing unattractive is the design of the carafe. Coffee doesn’t flow nicely out of it. Sometimes you wish it was a regular coffee pot instead. Other than that it’s fine.

I had a Cuisinart before so I knew what to expect…not easy to pour into coffee maker from pot, but I do like the thermal carafe. Since I had filters I opted to get this again. Great for hot chocolate or warming baby bottles. The shipping was excellent! Received it the next day, with no charge.

I love having the ability to get hot water for a cup of tea without making a spot for another appliance. This machine makes a great pot of coffee or just a cup or two. The carafe keeps the contents steaming hot for hours without keeping a burner using electricity and ruining the coffee. It’s sleek and beautiful, too. We chose it because of its high rating with Consumer Reports, and they were right.

I have had this coffee maker for a few months now and we have really enjoyed it. My husband drinks coffee and I drink tea so it is a win win. His coffee will stay warm for hours so it is very convenient. The water side is very versatile for tea or hot chocolate. Great for the grandchildren
