I love having the ability to get hot water for a cup of tea without making a spot for another appliance. This machine makes a great pot of coffee or just a cup or two. The carafe keeps the contents steaming hot for hours without keeping a burner using electricity and ruining the coffee. It’s sleek and beautiful, too. We chose it because of its high rating with Consumer Reports, and they were right.

I get tasty coffee. My bride gets hot water. What’s not to like? Hot water takes about 2 minutes. 5 cups of coffee about 6. Carafe doesn’t spill and keeps coffee hot.One minor issue. As the carafe is stainless steel, there is no water level gauge. There is one on the coffee maker itself. Not a big deal for me. There are separate water holders for the hot water and the coffee.

This is truly a quality product and this is a replacement for the same model that has served me well for a number of years.

The coffee that the machine produces is very good. The hot water station on the side is perfect. The only disappointment is the lid to the coffee section. It has warped a little and does not close evenly. It does not prevent the machine from working, but aesthetically it is disappointing.

This coffee maker is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. I was using a kuerag and wanted something new as the coffee would come out warm and not hot anymore. I figured I wanted the ability to pre set and wake up to hot coffee and let me tell you, this coffee brewer makes fantastic hot coffee. I also love the fact that I can make a cup of hot water as well without having to pull out a kettle. I would definitely recommend and buy it again!

We love this product. The metal carafe is the best feature. No burner to keep heating the coffee and the coffeemaker is on for less time. It only needs to be on while brewing. Great!! BUT we also loved our last Cuisinart which totally broke down after 2 yrs and 2 months. It should have lasted much longer. I have never had a coffeemaker last less than 10 years. With heavy daily use (like ours) I still expect it to last 5 years. So we will see how this second unit does over time.

I wanted to move away from my single serve Keurig and after reading a lot of reviews and exploring different options, I had decided on this one. I was somewhat discouraged by some of the negative reviews and when this maker sold out from the online retailer I wanted to purchase from I almost got something else. We aren’t huge coffee drinkers only needing about 1-3 cups per day, but I also like tea, especially in the colder months. I like that I can have both without having two machines taking up counter space. I love that it has a reusable basket, as reducing waste was one reason I wanted a drip pot. I love the auto brew feature and the stainless carafe is great for keeping it warm since I set it for my husband who is up a few hours before me. I’ve temped the coffee several times after it has sat for 2-4 hours and it is still at least 135. Actually I forgot about it the first night when I wanted to test with just hot water and the next day it was still at least 120 so the carafe keeps it nice and warm. I’ve had zero issues with hot water tasting like coffee like some reviews said. It makes a tasty cup of coffee and is easy to use and clean. My only complaint is that you really have to tip the carafe almost upside down to get the coffee to pour out, which is kinda annoying but probably needed to be able to keep it so hot for so long. Another selling point is cuisinart customer service. I had another one of their appliance go out on me after only two years and they shipped me a brand new one.

Immediately the lid started warping from steam, within months the hot water dispenser stopped working, does not release hot water. Carafe is wonderful stays hot for hours after turning off machine. Very convenient. Although the machine has flaws. Buy the warranty, it will be worth the purchase.

We purchased our 2nd cuisinart and we are so.happy with our coffeemaker. It boils water for tea, soups and oatmeal. The coffeemaker has a filter for the water and is programmable. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for a few hours. It’s a great machine

Carafe keeps coffee hot for along time and the extra hot water side is great for making hot tea in the evening. Love the system.

I like everything about this coffeemaker. The only thing I don’t care for is that after about an hour, the coffee is not as hot as I would like it to be like when it first finishes brewing. Otherwise, a great coffeemaker and the side hot water feature makes heating up hot water for tea or cocoa works great!

I set it up night before and I have HOT coffee in the morn. I still have HOT coffee hours later. The hot water side takes just a few seconds to warm up for tea or food prep use. I had a Keurig, which I still do (Hubby uses it for his 1 cup of special coffee), but I found the water would not heat up to “right” temp… by the time I doctored my cup, it was cold. Not now!!!

Coffeemaker works well and my wife loves the water option. It has its own water chamber and will put out about 3 coffe cups of water.

I find this to be an excellent coffeemaker. Have had cuisinart coffeepots before and find this to be the best yet.

Working great for 2 weeks now. We have some tea & hot chocolate drinkers, so the hot water system is useful. I like the thermal carafe; it prevents the coffee from tasting old and burnt.Easy to use and clean.

We purchased the Coffee Plus 10-Cup Thermal Coffeemaker & Hot Water System to replace an older Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffeemaker we had for several years. My husband and absolutely love the new unit! It makes delicious coffee as expected and the hot water system works perfectly for my tea. We have not experienced any of the water leak issues a few of the other reviewers mentioned. Thanks to the hot water system, I no longer needed to keep a tea kettle on my stove.
