The coffee that the machine produces is very good. The hot water station on the side is perfect. The only disappointment is the lid to the coffee section. It has warped a little and does not close evenly. It does not prevent the machine from working, but aesthetically it is disappointing.

I love having the ability to get hot water for a cup of tea without making a spot for another appliance. This machine makes a great pot of coffee or just a cup or two. The carafe keeps the contents steaming hot for hours without keeping a burner using electricity and ruining the coffee. It’s sleek and beautiful, too. We chose it because of its high rating with Consumer Reports, and they were right.

It works great however it is very difficult to clean as the spout is too narrow. Had to buy a bottle brush to clean the inside. Also the water reservoir is hard to fill, need to use something with a spout to avoid getting water everywhere

I bought this product because of the thermal carafe but it does not really keep coffee hot for a long time, the most is an hour and by the time I add cream the coffee is cold. It does not get the water very hot on the right side if you just want hot water. Really don’t like where the water well is located, a little cumbersome.

Easy to use. Like being able to get hot water for tea without it tasting like coffee because it has a separate system for it.

Love the taste of the coffee. Only issue is that it very hard to keep inside the ss pot clean it stains after a few pots of coffee.

I find this to be an excellent coffeemaker. Have had cuisinart coffeepots before and find this to be the best yet.

I like the product altogether. That only thing unattractive is the design of the carafe. Coffee doesn’t flow nicely out of it. Sometimes you wish it was a regular coffee pot instead. Other than that it’s fine.

Awesome coffee maker, it’s all I was hoping for. Great product!! Definitely would buy it again.

The disappointing part was the plastic taste from the hot water system. Cleaned with vinegar and several water baths and still have a slight plastic taste.

Coffee maker is just OK. The hot water has a unpleasant taste even after running water through it many times. Coffee doesn’t stay hot for very long time in the thermal container. Probably wouldn’t recommend it…

great coffee. Taste of coffee in the water? I drew water from the water heater to make tea for my wife for several days. She said the tea had a taste of coffee in it. I did not think this was possible since the water reservoir for the coffee maker and the water heater are separate – but there you have it.

We have a split household, I am a coffee drinker and she is a tea drinker. This machine gives us tge best of both worlds. Love thf thermal carafe, coffee doesn’t get bitter and stays drinkable for at least 6 hrs. Program first thing and don’t worry about bitter tasting coffee when you get up. Great Machine!

This coffee maker is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. I was using a kuerag and wanted something new as the coffee would come out warm and not hot anymore. I figured I wanted the ability to pre set and wake up to hot coffee and let me tell you, this coffee brewer makes fantastic hot coffee. I also love the fact that I can make a cup of hot water as well without having to pull out a kettle. I would definitely recommend and buy it again!

I love this machine, it brews the coffee real quick. Also, the hot water part is ver handy, get rid of your kettle.

I’ve been wanting this coffee maker, mostly because of the hot water side. We use a plastic measuring cup with a spout to fill it with the water. We had another like this but without the hot water side. The best feature I like is that the clock doesn’t light up my whole kitchen and shine into my bedroom while I’m trying to sleep. I love Cuisinart products, we own quite a few.

I have had this coffee maker for a few months now and we have really enjoyed it. My husband drinks coffee and I drink tea so it is a win win. His coffee will stay warm for hours so it is very convenient. The water side is very versatile for tea or hot chocolate. Great for the grandchildren

I’m old enough to have been making and drinking coffee for over 45 years and this is truly the best coffee maker ever. My husband and I both love the hot water tap but we mostly use the coffee maker. It is simple to use, makes great coffee and keeps it the perfect temperature until the pot is done.

This is the second Cuisinart-Coffeemaker w/ Hot Water System we have purchased. It gets a lot of use in our home. We use it daily for morning coffee and throughout the day for individual teas, or hot cocoa, hot cereal, etc. It has been a good system for us; however it would be even better if Cuisinart could fix two issues, we have with it. (1) It has a small clock, which gives you the time of day and allows you to program a few things, like when to start the coffee in the morning. The problem we have with the clock is that it is not lighted. We do not have enough light in the kitchen to quite make out the numbers or to program it. So as it is, the clock is useless for us. We currently have a small flashlight that we use when ever we need to program it. The clock should have a dim light that works off the electricity. (2) The Coffee Urn is a pain. Everyone complains that when ever they pour coffee into their mug it drips all over the counter. It should not be that difficult for Cuisinart to find a Coffee Urn that does not leak>
