It’s fine. It’s just we are used to our old cuisinart. Hate that doesn’t have water reserve. Whatever amt of water you want to make- you put in, can’t fill up all the way and program certain amt of cups. Plus difficult to pour the water in it, it’s next to the coffee filter/coffee. Hard to read the water line on the side too. Just really like old cuisinart coffee maker. Going back and buying it again. The side hot water for a cup of tea/hot chocolate is great though.

We have been using the Cuisinart coffeemaker with Hot water system for 5 months. The coffeemaker has been excellent and easy to use. However, the hot water system leaves an after taste, thus my wife no longer uses it. This taste may be normal, since daughter’s unit has a similar taste & smell for plain hot water.. Nevertheless, I did clean the unit, but she still do care for that taste. I would have given 5 stars, but the hot water system did not satisfy my wife’s taste buds.

Bought it for the thermal carafe and the hot water feature and I’m very pleased. Coffee tastes great and carafe keeps coffee hot for several hours. When it beeps to signal brewing is complete it actually is – water is completely drained from brewing basket and the brewing basket doesn’t leak on the way to the trash.

We have tried more expensive, more features machines but they are tempermental and break easily. The last one we had, needed cleaning every 3 times we made coffee. This is our second cuisinart coffee maker. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot all day. You can make smaller batches of coffee and we love the hot drink maker in the right side.Highly recommend it!!

This is my 2nd cuisinart coffeemaker with hot water. My first with the stainless pot. I don’t like that the warmer turns off after brewing Coffee doesn’t stay hot. I always like cuisinart products

hot water system is quick but i don’t see myself using it that often.as for the coffee drip capacity: I have the thermal carafe which is wonderful but pouring in the water has to be done with another cup. also missing is the “robust” function which was nice. the fit and finish on the lid (on the coffee side) is bent and does not sit level…just the one that I got. it’s a good simple machine.

I wanted to move away from my single serve Keurig and after reading a lot of reviews and exploring different options, I had decided on this one. I was somewhat discouraged by some of the negative reviews and when this maker sold out from the online retailer I wanted to purchase from I almost got something else. We aren’t huge coffee drinkers only needing about 1-3 cups per day, but I also like tea, especially in the colder months. I like that I can have both without having two machines taking up counter space. I love that it has a reusable basket, as reducing waste was one reason I wanted a drip pot. I love the auto brew feature and the stainless carafe is great for keeping it warm since I set it for my husband who is up a few hours before me. I’ve temped the coffee several times after it has sat for 2-4 hours and it is still at least 135. Actually I forgot about it the first night when I wanted to test with just hot water and the next day it was still at least 120 so the carafe keeps it nice and warm. I’ve had zero issues with hot water tasting like coffee like some reviews said. It makes a tasty cup of coffee and is easy to use and clean. My only complaint is that you really have to tip the carafe almost upside down to get the coffee to pour out, which is kinda annoying but probably needed to be able to keep it so hot for so long. Another selling point is cuisinart customer service. I had another one of their appliance go out on me after only two years and they shipped me a brand new one.

This machine works exactly as it should, and I have had no difficulties or problems with it. I am particularly impressed with the quality of the insulated pot. It keeps the coffee warm for a much longer period of time than I had expected, up to 5 hours in my experience. My only regret is that I don’t seem to be able to find a way to purchase a second pot for use when entertaining.

I bought this in December as a Christmas gift for my husband. He used it the same day and said it made the best coffee he has ever had. I don’t drink coffee but I have used the hot water despenser to make hot tea, hot cocoa and Ramen noodles. I love it. It’s convenient to use, easy to fill and makes coffee in a matter of seconds. I will never own anything else so when we have to replace this one I will buy another just like it.

The coffee maker is great, and I love the hot water system as well. I really like the thermal carafe, which keeps my coffee warm well into the afternoon. Since it has a thermal carafe, it also shuts off right after brewing, so I don’t have to think about that anymore and I would think that it saves energy.

I set it up night before and I have HOT coffee in the morn. I still have HOT coffee hours later. The hot water side takes just a few seconds to warm up for tea or food prep use. I had a Keurig, which I still do (Hubby uses it for his 1 cup of special coffee), but I found the water would not heat up to “right” temp… by the time I doctored my cup, it was cold. Not now!!!

Good tasting wake up morning coffee! I fill to the 6 cup line & measure coffee to taste. My coffee “mug” is filled 3 times which is plenty of caffeine in the a.m. for 1 person. I use the “safe” hot water dispenser for instant decafe at the end of the day.

Immediately the lid started warping from steam, within months the hot water dispenser stopped working, does not release hot water. Carafe is wonderful stays hot for hours after turning off machine. Very convenient. Although the machine has flaws. Buy the warranty, it will be worth the purchase.
