This was advertised as a masticating juicer but in fact, it is an extractor, there is a difference. I purchased this juicer because it says it was a masticating juicer. This juicer is not able to juice wheatgrass or any green leaf vegetable such as kale or spinach. Overall, it will juice carrots, apples, celery, etc., just fine.

Although I’ve only used my Juice extractor twice, I found that it’s easy to clean, work almost flawless and it’s not complicated to use, the only thing I didn’t like about it was, it clogs up when you try to put things like watermelon rinds in it, other than that I haven’t tested anything else in it.

Good product for the price. However, it is plastic, and a piece of the tunnel (channel where you place the fruits and vegetables) did crack and blow out on day 2 while juicing beets. I called Cuisinart 800 number and they said they are sending me a new part (no charge). It is a good machine, but if you want something more reliable, spend the money and buy a metal juicer. Anyway, I was able to use Gorilla tape to put the chipped out piece back on the chute. I am still using the machine while I wait for new part. I might wrap the new part with tape to strengthen it before use. With the added support, hopefully it will not break. Thank you
