The Cuisinart PerfecTemp Electric Kettle has 6 preset temperatures for different varieties of tea. 1500-watts provide fast heat-up, and a Keep Warm option will maintain the set temperature for 30 minutes. The kettle can even be removed from the power base for up to 2 minutes without shutting off. Cuisinart continues to make life civilized, easy and delicious.

It is easy to refill. It is fairly compact because it sits upright. Nice solid design—no loose handles or other wimpy parts. I could do without the beeping sound when it reaches temperature, but that’s not a big deal. When full, it brings cold water to a boil in six minutes. It has a nice blue light that comes on while it’s heating.

Works very well. Convenient temperature buttons. Nice ability to choose if you want it to maintain temperature or just heat once. The only problem is that in my medium sized hand, it is difficult for my thumb to reach the lid opening button. I usually open the lid with my other hand. Or I can fill the kettle from the spout.
