The Cuisinart PerfecTemp Electric Kettle has 6 preset temperatures for different varieties of tea. 1500-watts provide fast heat-up, and a Keep Warm option will maintain the set temperature for 30 minutes. The kettle can even be removed from the power base for up to 2 minutes without shutting off. Cuisinart continues to make life civilized, easy and delicious.

People should know it beeps. Our kettle functioned well but we had to give it away within a few days as our dog was traumatized by the frequency of the beeps. He would start shaking as soon as it was turned on. We have never had a kettle that beeps before.

Great design, my husband loves the ability to set the ‘boil’ temperature.The downsides are the ‘ping’ it makes once the water is boiled (sounds a bit like a smoke alarm so is quite disconcerting) and that it automatically goes to the ‘keep warm’ setting meaning that once the water is boiled you have to turn the kettle off.

This is the second one I have. The first one lasted over 9 years. I tried to replace it with a cheaper third party model but it did not come close to the features that the cuisinart electric kettle has. Well worth the price

I received the PerfecTemp Cordless Electric Kettle as a gift (a replacement for an electric kettle I already had) and this product is a vast improvement over the old kettle. It heats up water very quickly, has a lighted display so it’s always easy to see how much water is left, and keeps the water hot for 1/2 hour after it come to temperature. It is the nicest electric kettle I’ve ever had!
