You really need to pay attention to the activity and stop it as soon as the popping slows down or you will end up with burn kernels and thats bad.

Loved the ease at making popcorn. No more shaking the pan on the stove. Book suggested vegetable oil or grape seed oil. I don’t like using vegetable oil so I used the grape seed oil and it was great. And by the way, you can make your own, healthy popcorn salt by grinding your salt of choice (I used Himalayan) and grind it in your handy little coffee grinder (dedicated to spices not to grind coffee) and it gets so fine and clings to the popcorn-Yum! I also ordered Organic popcorn with 4 1/2 – 5 star rating.

We purchased this popper about a month ago and it makes really good popcorn. Several nice features are the heating element being separate from the container and the top section being dishwasher safe. The rotating wire not touching the bottom of the pan keeps Teflon from wearing off and getting into the popcorn, another nice feature. Only problem we are eating much more popcorn then we were before buying this popper.
