I am right handed and it is awkward pouring the water in the reservoir since it is on the left side. I also don’t like that you can’t smell the coffee while it is brewing.

I didn’t purchase recently. I was trying to find a replacement carafe and filter. The carafe handle broke and a new filter was needed. None to be found anywhere. The coffee maker itself is just ok. Meanwhile using with a broken handle and no filter until the new coffee pot arrives which is not a cuisinart. Coffee never got hot enough.

Very happy with my new Cuisinart coffee maker. The pour over technology makes a difference in quality, makes a great cup of coffee and the carafe keeps it hot for hours. It also brews a full pot very fast! The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is it sometimes drips a bit when pouring a cup.

The thermal carafe is really superior, although the weight is in fact more. The resulting coffee is the best if you follow the directions which are straight forward. The appearance of this brewer fits with its reputation. My wife and I who really enjoy well brewed coffee find this system to be superior.

Not really what I hoped for. Doesn’t have a real alternating seep cycle like the KithenAid, resulting in a bland taste. Also the water markings on both carafe and water tank are useless. AND there is NO ready tone.

Purchased for myself ranjit a month ago, and love it!! Have mine set up night before and auto timer set at 10 minutes before my alarm goes off. Have fresh hot cup while I get ready for work, and bring a take along cup for the commute to work. Love my options for brew strength and temp. Glad I decided to get it. I have my favorite coffees available and change varieties depending on my mood. Not sorry I have auto pour over. Wish I had done it sooner.

This coffee maker is very stylish, easy to use, and makes a great pot of coffee. The carafe is high quality and keeps coffee hot for hours. However, the screws used within the water compartment at the top are corroding after less than a month of use and releasing rust particles into the unit. Why noncorrosive fasteners such as stainless steel were not used in this environment is puzzling given the quality of other components of the unit. Not pleased and don’t expect this unit to last ten years as my last Cuisinart coffee did, which is prompted me to buy another Cuisinart. (I have a picture but unable to post here.) Can’t recommend this unit until the fastener issued it corrected.

This coffee maker does all the work of the pour over process for you with just the touch of a button-resulting in a fresh, delicious cup of coffee! Definitely the best we’ve ever had. We grind the beans fresh each morning. I like the “extra hot” and “bold” settings because I like the flavor of coffee and it allows for me to add creamer and still have hot coffee. The carafe keeps the coffee pretty hot for a few hours, though it’s definitely hotter the sooner you pour it after it’s made. The coffee does pool a little at the top of the lid, but a quick wipe off will allow for a less messy pour. I would highly recommend this machine!

I had purchased and returned 3 other brewers before I found this one. I am a diehard fan of all things Cuisinart, and the only reason I didn’t purchase this one first, was, that I was looking for a low profile machine to save counter space. The others were returned because they did not make the coffee hot enough and it was bitter. This machine is fantastic and worth every penny and every inch of my counter space! It has all the features you could want and delivers HOT, perfectly brewed coffee. The smaller 8 cup capacity may be an issue when making coffee for more than 4 people, but it brews so fast, that no one will have to wait long for their coffee. I am completely happy with this brewer and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top quality, attractive, easy to use, programmable coffee brewer. The pour over style drip system makes the smoothest cup of coffee you can expect from an automatic brewer. I do not miss my single serve brewer, since this machine can make a 4 cup pot (2 decent size mugs) in about the same amount of time. Once again, Cuisinart delivers and does not disappoint! I own many Cuisinart appliances and in my opinion, they are the best quality items in my kitchen and have never let me down.

I do not believe this coffee maker gets your coffee heated to 195 to 205 degrees as required by the coffee association for the best cup of coffee.

I am a coffee lover and I want the best I can get. This coffee maker produces the same cup of coffee I used to make with a Chemex by standing over the Chemex pouring a little water at a time into the filter. It is good looking and straight forward. Every adjustment I want without a confusing interface. it looks good on the counter too.
