On what it does out of the box, it’s 5-stars. But as a lot of us have experienced, will it remain consistent, if a part breaks can you get a replacement? I’ve given up on steel carafes, they don’t keep the coffee hot, so I went with the glass model, which works well with the hotplate which you can program for up to two hours. The Bold brewing cycle combined with the Extra Hot brew temperature combine to draw a nice rich flavor out of your coffee. My previous pour-over coffee maker had to be abandoned because I could not get replacement parts. This Cuisinart PurePrecision is a better-made device. Long may it Brew!

Beautiful coffee maker. Makes great coffee. But we cannot find a way to pour the coffee without making a mess. I have discussed with another owner and they have the same issue. Anyone else??

I can’t explain how much better the coffee tastes. It has brought out the flavor completely. It was so easy to set up and once programmed it works perfectly.

Makes a great cup of coffee! Love the timer option – my husband sets it at 6a and we are waken up by the smell of fresh coffee.

Great coffee maker—love it! Just wish it stayed hot longer.

The brewer is a relatively new purchase, but so far my I am extremely pleased. Although I wished it would make just one more cup than it does, the brewer produces enough for me to have a cup and then fill up a travel mug for myself and my wife before we leave for work. I do think it is overpriced, but I am a huge fan of the stainless steel carafe. I’m too violent when washing the glass style carafes so their life span is drastically shortened in my hands.

This is one smooth cup of coffee. If you enjoy a poor over however have not the time to wait and you need more functions this is the machine to you.

Reading reviews on this coffee pot I had high expectations. There is nothing bad about this coffee pot except maybe that it only makes 8 cups. But the carafe is amazing. We’ve had other coffee pots and even cuisinarts that can’t seem to pour without leaking all over. This does not do that so that’s a huge win. I read reviews about the fact that it’s an automatic pour over machine and the quality of the coffee is comparable to a single pour over. Honestly I don’t taste much of a difference between this and my previous Cuisinart. There is a slightly smoother taste but it’s not a huge difference. We especially love the way it looks on our counter. We recently renovated our kitchen to a more industrial look and this looks great with our concrete countertops. I have nothing bad to say about it but just that I was expecting a higher quality taste. I would like to give 4.5 stars because of that but it was either 5 or 4 and I thought it was closer to 4.

Sleek design and easy to use. Still experimenting trying to get a good cup of coffee. Using filtered water and paper filter. Next will try grinding fresh beans to see if that helps.

I had another high end coffee maker that made the SCAA list and it lasted three years then croaked. I didn’t like how noisy it was and how it sprayed steam all over. I love this quisinart. I have had it for 2.5 months now. It is quiet, keeps the coffee hot and is easy to use. It has just enough features but not too many. It makes great coffee and did I mention how quiet it is? I checked the temp in the grounds while brewing and it measured 195 degrees on the extra hot setting. This meets the minimum recommended temp, but it should meet that minimum while at the normal setting – so it gets 4 stars instead of 5. I tend to be a tough reviewer. I can hear a pump move the water rather than having heated steam blow it through the machine, this gives the coffee maker great control and keeps the brew times within spec – unlike that previous brewer that always took 10 to 13 minutes to brew. I live at 3500 feet elevation – not too high, but it does lower the boiling point of water.

The coffee tasted great! I don’t consider myself a coffee snob, but it was a big improvement over my previous standard $50 coffee makers. I also like the beep it makes once the brew cycle is completed. Unfortunately the 8-cup thermal carafe included in this version doesn’t have a well designed spout. Often this causes water to spill if you are filling the reservoir using the carafe or pouring the coffee into your cup. As far as I can tell there isn’t a solution to this issue so I returned it and have ordered the version with the glass carafe.

Easy to use and a great cup of coffee. The thermal pot can keep your coffee hot for about an hour. You can adjust the temperatures from hot to extra hot and it beeps when brewing is complete. I love the Pure Precision Pour Over brewer. Oh, did I mention that it is SCAA certified coffee maker? Yes, I am in love with this coffee maker!!

Makes excellent coffee. Only problem is that at the junction of the plastic and metal under the spout water from the previous day’s washing leaks out when pouring the first cup of coffee. Not a big leak, but annoying.

Great thermal coffee maker. Does what it’s designed for and quality built. Easy to use and makes fantastic coffee.

The carafe doesn’t keep the coffee warm and it tends to get a little sludgy. I often add water to brew another cup, which reheats and keeps water moving.

This boasts a “pour over style” coffee – but the quality of the coffee brewed is meh… like maybe slightly better than a normal drip machine. But nowhere near as good as other drip machines such as the Bonavita or the Moccamaster.

This coffee maker is amazing! Programmable, easy to use, and makes delicious coffee!

It would be a 5 Star product, but when pouring coffee into a cup the thermos pot dribbles coffee onto the counter nearly every time.

So far so good. coffee great but when I pour from my stainless steel carafe, I try to aim straight, but I get coffee dripping down the carafe. usually I only make 6 cups, so carafe is not that filled I cannot figure out why it drips that way.

This makes the smoothest coffee. Great from the first pot!!
