I didn’t know what had changed initially- my coffee was stronger while I was using the same amount of grinds as I did with my old, broken machine. So, i’m saving money because i use less coffee with this fantastic machine, and honestly, I’ve lost my taste for coffee bought at a shop- in comparison, this machine really brews a smooth, delicious pot that i immediately look forward to when I wake up in the morning. I received this as a gift. I am switching from K-cup to whole bean coffee. The fact that my coffee connoisseur son chose this pot says a lot. The only complaint I have is that is spills when I pour the coffee. I believe that the carafe could keep the coffee hotter as well.
