Toasts wide homemade sourdoigh buns, english muffins, bratwurst buns, you name it. You can elevate even shorter pieces of ‘bread’ to reteieve them without unpluging it to poke a knife though the bun, or.turning it upside cown and shaking bun loose! It has an early popup button to end the toasting, or just see hos it’s doing before full timd is up. Not 5 stars, tends to burn airier bread no matter how low I set the time for.

Bought this to replace a newer toaster. The previous toaster would toast very unevenly, parts burnt and others not toasted. This one toast perfectly! An even job on the whole slice of bread.

It is OK. Based on the price I shouldn’t have expected perfection, but I do usually expect a little better than OK from Cuisinart. I have many Cuisinart appliances – Griddler, drip coffee pot, small and large food processors, ice cream maker, immersion blender and there could be a couple more. The problem I have with this toaster is that it doesn’t toast evenly. One side is always darker than the other, so you really have to watch the setting. You might need to fuss around with it a bit, depending on how dark or light you can tolerate one side of your toast!!

It is a nice compact toaster and makes good toast. We have not tried frozen waffles or pop tarts yet. My only criticism is that crumbs get stuck inside and don’t fall through to the tray so you have to unplug it and turn it upside down to clean it.

I was excited about the features of this toaster. BUT, one feature it’s missing is the ability to toast a single piece evenly. It only toasts one side and you then need to turn it over to toast the second which then overbrowns the first side. Stuck with a toaster lacking what I consider a vital feature.

i read several articles about the best toasters for a reasonable price and this was the “winner”. unfortunately, i found it doesn’t perform as well as the boasts. i bought it because it was supposed to toast very evenly. mine does not. the outside on the right slot barely toasts while the other side gets quite dark (no matter the setting). so, i turn my slice around. it’s ok, but i wouldn’t expect much.
