Does everything we need except toast only one side of a bagel during defrost. When trying to defrost a bagel it actually toasts both sides even though only one side is desired. Haven’t figured out the timing to just defrost the bage without toasting.

I read other reviews prior to purchasing my toaster, so I was ready for the plusses and minuses when I got it home. First of all, it’s beautifully designed and looks very nice sitting on my kitchen counter. The body is cool to the touch, making it easy to move back and forth immediately after I’m done using it. The crumb tray is easily removed, and I shake out the remaining debris that may end up in other areas of the toaster. I tend to set it on a low number and turn the bread around for even toasting, so I’m not really bothered by having one side brown more than the other. On the occasions when I’ve used a darker setting, the toast seems to come out fine on its own without my turning it. I use different kinds of bread, so the process changes, depending on the thicknesses and moisture content. All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase. My feeling is that the difference, had I selected another more expensive product, is that I would have spent more money.
