However, I don’t appreciate the fact that even on the highest setting I have to toast everything one and a half times in order to get it toasted. The the worst is when I wander off and forget and then I come back and it’s toasted twice and now it’s burnt.

I really wanted to give this a higher rating but there are two things that bug me about this toaster. The first is that it doesn’t seem to toast as evenly on both sides as it should. The second, which is really annoying is the “Bagel” button is a joke. On my old toaster, this meant it would only toast on one side. That is not that case with this toaster. With this toaster, it means it toasts longer. Ridiculous. I really wanted to like this toaster. The white is nice. The small footprint is nice. The price was nice. C’mon you can do better!

Purchased online for pick up at Home Depot. That process went very well. Quick and easy. Product has a nice look. The Cuisinart brand is known for quality, but find it a bit trying to find a setting that toasts without burning or barely browning. Also not many choices in white!

This was a replacement of similar toaster that served us well until it suddenly quit working. After 10+ years I wasn’t too unhappy and when Wirecutter recommended the same toaster I was in. It is fine but wish it wasn’t plastic this time. Not quite as good as the one it replaced but not a big surprise

Yes, in today’s world where everything is connected and does all sorts of things you never heard of. This is a nice toaster that makes toast, not eggs benedict while it tells you the weather. It gives you toast. Just the way you like it. The settings are very easy, they do exactly what it says.There are a couple of extra selections, but if don’t want to use then, you don’t have to.No resetting or programming.A toaster that works let a toaster.Though I do like the reheat selection, who likes cold toast? Well now you have a choice to just reheat it without toasting it all over again.Yes it does do a little more, but it’s still a normal popup toaster. No music, no video of your toast while you wait.You put bread in, push down the leaver and you get toast that pops up. Nothing more, nothing less.

I loved this toaster. Compact, fast, and all the coils worked. However, about 2 weeks old, the left side stopped popping up. This happens occasionally so I have to watch it. That said, it was under warranty so I got another one. Hoping it will stay working perfectly. I have purchased too may expensive toasters that don’t work well.
