I love the compact size of the toaster and the features. However, I don’t appreciate the fact that even on the highest setting I have to toast everything one and a half times in order to get it toasted. The the worst is when I wander off and forget and then I come back and it’s toasted twice and now it’s burnt.

Even with the the darkness dial turned way up., your toast is not dark. Only drawback with the toaster. Otherwise it is a nice toaster.

I bought this to replace a 2-slice B&D Toaster that worked great. The Cuisinart 4-slice Toaster looks great and toasts fast and evenly. There are 2 small complaints – the levers you press down take a lot of force to lock down. My old toaster took much less force. The second complaint is the length of the slots. They seem to be just a little short for some breads.
