Looks much better in the picture than when you receive it. The toast openings are good for thick items but are too large fir norm slices and therefore slip sideways. I liked my last Cuisinart toaster much more.

This is my 2nd Cuisinart toaster. At half the price of my 1st toaster, it has the same bells and whistles but allows a lot more shade settings because of the control button. Very happy with this toaster.

Very even toasting and the reheat function is a new and nice addition for me. Easy to drop the bread down with the easy to push handle. Toasted muffins pop up high enough to almost land outside the toaster so I play a game of trying to catch them mid-flight. Overall a great appliance for the price.

Does make very good toast. The adjustment knob feels loose. I wish it had an option for English muffins. My old toaster would turn off the element on the backside of the English muffin so it would only that the cut/split side. I like the cancel button and the lever gives you the ability to pop your toast up higher so it is easy to grab

It’s a toaster; it toasts bread as expected, even toasting, no frills. The buttons are a bit misleading, as they don’t really alter the functionality of the toaster. They simply add additional time to your preset dial settings to accommodate for the item selected. If your looking for a bagel toaster… this is not it. The bagel button does not concentrate its heat to the inner cut side of a bagel as one might expect. It just adds more time to account for the density of the bagel.For the price point, it does what I bought it to do, make toast with consistent browning on both sides.

The lever to raise the toast to remove after it’s done doesn’t raise as much as our old one did. It was a Krupps. The slots are quite as wide either as other wide slice toasters we’ve had.

It’s a good product but The dial that sets how well done is sloppy. There is virtually zero resistance when it is turned so it just kind of flops around on the side of the toaster. As a result it doesn’t stay set in one place when moving the toaster around and frankly I’m not sure it has any effect on how well the toast is done.
