This is much better than the cheap crumb spreaders I’ve previously owned. My gluten free wife uses one half, I use the other, and she doesn’t have medical issues with contamination. And the quality is evident, I’m very pleased with this purchase!

It is a very well made toaster with features that I like. It has the ability to raise the toast a little higher when toasting is finished which is really important when we are using short/small pieces of bread, it has a single slice slot, and a pull out crumb tray for easy cleaning. The only negative – and it is a minor one – is that one of the 4 slots toasts a bit more on one side than the other, but it is not a big difference. We’ve only had the toaster for a little over a month, so I can’t comment on longevity.

It toast bread very good and even and it also toast bagels very well also looks good setting next to our Cuisinart coffee maker that we have had for years. The coffee maker is the second one I have bought in 17 years. They make a very good product and you get what you pay for. Our home will always buy this product. My wife is supper happy with the toaster and if she is happy my life is good.

Does not toast evenly. Control knobs are very loose and difficult to see the settings. Will not accommodate anything but a standard size slice of bread so anything longer/wider must be cut to fit. Not what we would have expected from Cusinart. Had our last Cusinart toaster for more than 20 years. The new will not last nearly that long.
