Does what a toaster is supposed to do, and does it well. Wide slots can handle thick bagels. I particularly like the “Defrost” option – takes a frozen piece of bread to a perfect piece of toast. The “Reheat” option is a nice touch if you’ve forgotten the bread or bagel you put in the toaster – this toaster will warm them up without burning them.I’m very pleased with my choice.

You put bread in and it toasts the bread…exactly what I bought it for. Toasting is great once you get it dialed in. Only two things that I find a bit negative. 1. While there is a bagel setting, the slots are a bit too narrow to et a bagel in. 2. If you buy Wonder bread or the like the slot is good but if you buy any type of artisan bread the slot is a bit short and half your bread will stick out so you have to rotate the bread and toast again.

I have a small kitchen and had a hyped and expensive toaster oven/air fryer combo that took up space. It quit in one year and to cash in on the warranty would have required me to pay a lot in shipping. In that year I realized that I didn’t need all that “stuff” — I just needed a good toaster that I could buy locally. This one matches my kitchen in color and works perfectly. I like the 4 slice capacity. The only thing I would caution is that the dials do move very easily so make sure you have them set where you want them.
