Some of the coils do not light as being hot and the bread and muffins do not toast equally. Our last Cuisinart toaster was the same way which is why we bought a new one. Maybe a different brand would have been a better to this issue.

knobs are too loose and won’t stay exactly where you select toast color.one side will be a LOT lighter than the other. This toaster overall seem cheaper made than our previous one yet cost more.

The toaster is awesome, allows us to toast 4 breads at the same time, have the option to toast as Bagel for regular bread to get a nice toast. It toast bread very good and even and it also toast bagels very well also looks good setting next to our Cuisinart coffee maker that we have had for years. Cord is in front part of bottom. Makes it short to plug in.Also when have toast dial set to 6 you have to toast twice..

It is a very well made toaster with features that I like. It has the ability to raise the toast a little higher when toasting is finished which is really important when we are using short/small pieces of bread, it has a single slice slot, and a pull out crumb tray for easy cleaning. The only negative – and it is a minor one – is that one of the 4 slots toasts a bit more on one side than the other, but it is not a big difference. We’ve only had the toaster for a little over a month, so I can’t comment on longevity.

Very overpriced for the quality. Not what I expected from Cuisinart. Have to push lever down multiple times. Pops up early. Toasts only on highest setting. Once it’s used a few times consecutively, its too hot so need to lower the setting. Hard to get toasted items out. 1st pop up toaster in 25 years. Wish i stuck with toaster oven.
