I am sorry to say that it is actually not as sturdy as we had anticipated. The levers are a bit hard to push down and feel a little cheap in manufacturing. Having said that. The toast is even and toasts quickly. You don’t want it past level 3 or 4 though.

Does what a toaster is supposed to do, and does it well. Wide slots can handle thick bagels. I particularly like the “Defrost” option – takes a frozen piece of bread to a perfect piece of toast. The “Reheat” option is a nice touch if you’ve forgotten the bread or bagel you put in the toaster – this toaster will warm them up without burning them.I’m very pleased with my choice.

I have had my toaster for a month or so and it has been really great. The style fits right in with all of our other kitchen appliances both large and small. I have used it for bagels and toast. With both, we have achieved great results with the easy to adjust dial. I was concerned about the level of browning on the toast and so far have seen that it is even. The cancel function also works well but it is still early in the lifecycle so I really hope that the elements to toast and cancel function work for a long time as those have been two functions that failed in the past on different brands. I wouldn’t hesitate again to get another one so you shouldn’t either! Go get one for yourself and check it out.

In that year I realized that I didn’t need all that “stuff” — I just needed a good toaster that I could buy locally. This one matches my kitchen in color and works perfectly. I like the 4 slice capacity. The only thing I would caution is that the dials do move very easily so make sure you have them set where you want them.
