Our older four slice toaster jammed up and turned into a two slice machine. I have many Cuisinart products and this new four slicer It is toasting fairly evenly. I don’t care for plastic on an appliance that generates heat, but thank goodness there isn’t any odor of plastic.

There have been no problems and the toaster works well with even toasting on both sides, especially English muffins. No reason for me not to give it a 5 star rating.

I purchased this product to replace an electrical version that died after a short time. This fits the look of my kitchen. I have no complaints but do know that when you push the lever down you have to with a little force. I like that as it cannot accidentally be turned on by my cat who is super curious. And the temp is hot so you do bit have to put the dial on a high number for a good toast. I haven’t needed to go past 3.
