It takes some trial and error to find the settings you like but the toaster provides even toasting on both sides of the bread. I love the auto lowering of the bread; really not necessary but certainly nice for lazy folks!

The adjustment for how dark you want your toast works very well. Takes a time or two to determine which numerical number will meet your desires but once you have that figured out it is very consistent. Also like the beep when the toast is done. The automatic lowering and raising is different from most toasters and the ratings I reviewed all gave it good marks for longevity.

So far, so good. Compared to my old piece of crap toaster, it does a thorough and even cooking job that surprises me of the difference a better toaster can make. But again, the competition wasn’t fierce from my point of view. Surely it’s an above average toaster, though.
