This toaster is very nice! I love the way you can put your bread into the slots, select the number for toasting, press the toast button. Then the bread goes down (on its own). When toasting is complete it will beep to let you know that your toast is ready!

The highest setting on this toaster is 7. On this setting firmer beads like the sour dough that I like to eat do not even start to turn brown. It would be a great toaster if it just browned your toast faster. Although I think all toasters today are slower than than they use to be.

The only reason for the three star rating is that even at the highest level level (7) toast, bagels, and english muffins are browned to what I consider to be very light especially the bagels and english muffins. I personally prefer my toast etc. to be somewhat darker.

Just received, needed a new toaster, replaced old Black & Decker two slice. So far, so good. Toasted everything, white, rye bagels. Also defrosted white, rye and bagels. Works great, toasts easy and evenly.Like the leverless feature. Only drawback, it doesn’t fit a full slice of rye bread. Partially sticking out. Have to flip bread over. Other than that. It’s a great toaster. Nice stainless steel finish, cleans up well and nice crumb tray. Built well. Definitely recommend.Gave 4 stars because of the rye bread not fitting in the slot all the way. Other than that, Great.
