Higher wattage toaster = fast toast. Also, I have used the pastry setting for Toaster Strudel and it worked great! With 2 independent sides, each holding 2 items, you can set up one side for toast and the other side for non-toast items.

This 4-slice toaster has many great features. The English muffin and waffle settings are extremely convenient in rendering a well toasted muffin and frozen waffle. The toaster’s “toasting darkness” setting provides for a consistent shade of toasting. After a few trial & error toastings, exact settings can be consistently maintained for your preferred shade on each bread type of item. The removable crumb trays are conviently located in the rear of the toaster. One does needs to e mindful that the toaster’s metal exterior surface does become quite warm/hot after toasting. Overall this toaster is a good value.
