Love the brand and had the previous version for a few years. I like the options located on the knob about toasting different bread types. My only concern is when pressing down on cooking knob I don’t get the feeling of quality doesn’t feel like this toaster will last as long as my last one. Time will tell so I saved my receipt.

Did numerous comparisons for quality and pricing over several weeks before committing to this purchase. We use this toaster daily and have used it for over 2 months with perfect toast every time. I have used 4 of the different settings and each works as expected. Hope it holds up for the next few years!

I am very happy with the new toaster. It has all the options for special toasting (I mainly use toast, bagels and English Muffins). It replaces a Krups which lasted us for over 10 years. If I were to change anything, I would like the ability to raise the finished item a little higher above the top of the slot. It has the feature but it is just short a little on English muffins in particular. The only other comment is an engineering design issue. It seems strange that the power cord exits the toaster on the bottom RIGHT FRONT CORNER making the power cable pass under the toaster to get to an outlet on the back left side. Oddly enough, all of our outlets in our kitchen are just in the wrong place for a right hand exit and even if that was not an issue, a front exiting power cord just seems strange in itself. I hope the cord laying under the toaster will not deteriorate in time! Unfortunately both of these issues were not discoverable by doing an Internet purchase.

Overall I am happy with this toaster. There a couple of small issues that do not affect the performance, but are slightly annoying. One side of the toaster’s push-down lever is very stiff. Browning is even and the bagel toasting works very well. I would probably rate it a 4.5

This toaster lives up to it’s name “Cuisinart” as it is a solid not flimsy product. I have other Cuisinart products that I know are made well and last longer than other similar products. This toaster has several selector features and I can tell you that they are true! I have tried all of them. You will pay more for this product, but you will be happy with it.

We’ve had our old cheap toaster for years and replaced it with the 4 slice Cuisinart toaster. What a difference, not only in looks, but quality. This toaster feels well-made for the price, and so far we have no complaints on the toasting aspects. We still need to experiment with the bagel setting though. Overall, very satisfied with our purchase.
