I bought my first rice cooker years ago! No more burnt cooktop rice. The cooker somehow has perfect heat and timing… it turns from heat to warming when the rice is done. The first one still works great – I bought a second one to go to the cabin! The cooking vessel does scratch over time.

Purchased this over four weeks ago and it really has made it easier for me to get meals ready for my family of seven. Besides the fire and forget functionality of the rice cooker it actually looks sharp on my kitchen top where I leave it because of the utilization. Only reason it got 4 stars and not 5 is because the lid has a lip that make for difficult cleaning when the rise bubbles up and starch attaches into these hard to get areas.

The rice cooker is terrific! Easy to use. Rinse and add 1-4 cups of rice to the cooker. Add water up to the appropriate line marked on the inside of the cooker. Spot-on white rice everytime! For packaged rice with seasoning, I make according to the package directions. The Non-stick surface also cleans up easily.

This is my first ever rice cooker and I love it! Its very convenient and makes perfect rice! I did have it leak a bit once, but I think if you put the steamer basket and lid on top it won’t leak as bad. For reference, the leak was minimal and for a second. It was easy to wipe away.
