I really want to like this more than I do. I purchased this because of the name and reputation. The appearance is VERY nice but there are 2 issues. First, the black plunger handle seems a bit flimsy. Second, and more importantly, the blades aren’t as sharp as I feel they need to be to effectively chop, not rip (lots of veggies would get hung up in the blades or not chop all the way through – extremely annoying). The cleaning is okay (could have been easier but this is nit picking). Honestly, I’m not sure I would purchase this again (and I would probably look at other brands first).

I bought this because I saw a similar device on James May’s Oh Cook! I didn’t even know something like this existed but now I have it I think it’s amazing. I did a lot of research on the ‘slapchop’ type devices and this one had the highest reviews and they were not wrong! I highly recommend this chopper – chops well, good build, robust, easy to clean. What more could you ask for.

If you don’t want tiny pieces like a food processor would make, this is for you. It makes large and small chunks not minced food. Depends on how long you pump it. Love it. Works great!
