As you would expect from Cuisinart, very substantial and very nicely finished. The lids are a pleasant surprise, they seal well, and are easy to take on and off. (Don’t use them in the freezer, they shrink-no harm done.) The smallest bowl is a perfect fit as the inner pot for a three quart Instant Pot.

So far so good. I am a little nervous that they may rust because I saw some reviews that they rust over time. I and my husband had lost confidence in Cuisinart because we bought Cusinart coffee maker twice and both broke in just a few years. Despite that I bought this mixing bowl set because it got a good review in NY Times. We will see if they will rust over time, but they are very very beautiful.

I used to have some plastic bowls and they’re in the trash now. I love my Cuisinart mixing bowls. Easier to clean, doesn’t scratch, and it’s steeper which prevents splashing. I use them about 3 times a week.
