Nice teakettle. I like the design and color. Works like it should and the whistling sound is not irritating. The only thing I do not like is the water fill line is nothing more than a small sticker on the outside of the teakettle.

Great kettle except water pools up under the lid so that when lid is removed to be refilled, water drips from it on to counter or floor or whatever you are holding it over.

I spent weeks researching this purchase mostly because there were sooooo many negative reviews. I love this tea kettle and it is just perfect.The many shiny kettles are pretty but I prefer this brushed stainless finish which will minimize any scratches. This has a good strong whistle which can be heard a few rooms away. There is a minimal of adjustments learning to use this kettle which has a fill line so you don’t overfill. It is better for the kettle if you heat it on medium to medium high heat instead of high heat to boil water. Yes water will boil on medium high and takes only a minute or two longer so just plan ahead.
